There are two certifications required for working as a lifeguard anywhere in the United States:
1) the Lifeguard Training certification with First Aid and
2) The CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer certification.
These certifications may be American Red Cross or an equivalent, such as YMCA, Starguard, or an Ellis certification.
Aquatic Management of Houston offers both Lifeguard Training certification and CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer for Lifeguards. These are American Red Cross classes and the certifications you receive for passing the class are American Red Cross certifications.
Aquatic Management of Houston will be conducting Lifeguard Training and CPR/AED classes on the following dates:
April 20, 21, & 22, 2012
April 27, 28, & 29, 2012
May 4, 5 & 6, 2012
The costs for these classes will be:
$ 200.00 for employees
$ 250 for Non-employees
