Our Leadership
Pete's extensive experience spans over twenty years in the Aquatic Industry. His background includes all manners of aquatics, pool operations, water quality management, swimming and construction. Pete also served as a key trainer for The Pool Management Group. Customers have referred to Pete as “very easy to work with and will follow through on promises.” Pete is a Certified Pool Operator (CPO), a member of the National Swimming Pool Foundation, and involved in many other aquatic organizations both nationally and internationally.
About Our Team
Aquatic Management of Houston provides pool management, lifeguard staffing services and pool maintenance services across greater Houston.
We have positions in the following areas: Cypress, Spring, Humble, Atascocita, Spring, Montgomery County, Tomball, Katy, Richmond, Sugar Land and Klein.
Janet has over fifteen years of experience in Human Resources and working with young professionals. Specifically, Janet has over five years of recruiting, training and working with professional lifeguards. As a former HR Manager for a Fortune 500 company, Janet has managed and hired thousands of employees worldwide. Janet received her Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality from Georgia State University.
Tremaine joined the Aquatic Management of Houston supervision team in 2014 and is responsible for our South and South West operations. Tremaine is also a Certified Pool Operator (CPO) and American Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor (LGI). Tremaine has been an important team member and is responsible for successfully running many of our client’s aquatic facilities along with several hundred lifeguards.

Colby joined us in 2021. Colby is responsible for our Lifeguard and Training operations. Colby is also a Certified Pool Operator (CPO) and Lifeguard Instructor (LGI). His previous pool maintenance and repair experience with residential pools and attention to detail make Colby an important member of our team.
Our Safety Advisors
As part of The Pool Management Group network, our customers and employees receive the expertise of our internationally renowned Safety Advisors, Dr. Tom Griffiths and the team at Aquatic Safety Research Group. Their expertise is instilled throughout our risk reduction techniques and lifeguard training.
Dr. Griffiths was inducted into the International Swimming Hall of Fame and is a Paragon Safety Award winner for his water safety efforts. He has been awarded the National Recreation and Park Association Distinguished Aquatic Service Award for a lifetime achievement and designated a European Lifeguard Academy Friend of the Academy for significant contributions to preventive Lifeguarding. Dr. Griffiths has also been named to “Who’s Who in Aquatics- The Top 100”, and “Power 25- Top 25 most powerful aquatics professionals in the World”, by Aquatics International Magazine.
Dr. Griffiths has authored more than 300 papers that have been published in scientific, professional and popular journals. He is an external reviewer for the American Red Cross Swimming and Diving publications.
